Open - Semifinals - Race 9
The enchanted ocean of sirens. The lonely sea of the cast away, the sea of every summer, the sea just imagined by those who live inland, the seven seas of the pirates and privateers, the luxurious ocean of those with the private yachts, the sea of the adventure, the sacrificed sea of fishermen… the sea is today also the Sea of The Cats.
Marks change with the turn of the winds and everyone gets ready to face one more battle. The pictures illustrate the action. The results speak for themselves: Legal and Delevaux from France, followed by Geert Schouten and Alessio diederiko from Netherlands. In the third place, Goritz and Monreal from Germany.
The favorites are at sight. Their names are being written and they also write the new history of the most ancient region of the American Continent. Results

We have read the Los Angeles Times and in the crossword puzzle of last Sunday we found a surprise. The question number 25 horizontal says: Cat often see in water. The question fits in five spaces: Hobie.
You see? Everyone is into this.
And everyone starts the race at 1:55 pm with the loud signal of the air horn. The course is a shortened 2G. 5 circuits have to be sailed today and time is not a friend anymore. Over 35 degrees Celsius, 14 knots of wind coming from the NW (120 degrees), sky clear and blue and a lot of adrenaline are the ingredients of the moment.
And when we go to the finish line we can see probably one of the most spectacular race endings of this world championship. It is so tight that judges have a tough time deciding who won.
Blaine and Roxane Dodds from South Africa win by a sardine scale over Keag and Anwing from Australia. In third place crossing the finish line we have the team of China, with Peter and Juliet Bates.
